- 3M™ Fire and Water Barrier Tape protects rated construction joints and through penetrations with no setup or dry time
- 3M™ Smoke and Sound Tape protects non-rated construction joints and through penetrations where smoke and sound leakage is a concern
- 3M™ Fire Barrier Rated Foam FIP 1-Step installs quickly and expands up to five times to fill penetrations
- 3M™ Interam™ Endothermic Mat (E-Mat) significantly slows heat transfer in the event of a fire to protect critical components
You need to control the flow of air, moisture and heat between the inside and outside of the building to meet today’s code standards and assure the long-term integrity of the building. 3M™ Air Barrier Systems consisting of membranes and flashing solutions are built to meet and exceed specifications. They are also engineered with pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive so you can easily install them in extreme heat or cold.

You need to know that glass and other architectural panels will go on the first time and stay on. Featuring a high-performance multi-purpose acrylic adhesive on both sides of a conformable foam core, 3M™ VHB™ Tapes offer quick stick and instant holding power without cure time. These tapes permanently adhere panels while distributing stress along the entire length of the bond for greater security.

You need to protect insulation in exposed areas such as industrial or commercial rooftop applications, process piping or between buildings as well as harsh interior environments such as chemical exposure areas. 3M™ VentureClad™ Insulation Jacketing Tapes have a multi-ply laminate construction to not only offer physical protection but also provide an absolute vapor barrier, even at the seams.
