How to Mask — Standard Windows
With the 3M™ Hand-Masker™ System, paint prep for standard windows is faster and easier.

Step 1:Pre-tape the bottom of the window.

Step 2:Use the 3M™ Hand-Masker™ M3000 Dispenser to apply film to the top of the window trim.

Step 3:Unfold the film and adhere to the pre-taped bottom of the window. Tape the sides.
How to Mask — Arched Windows

Step 1:Pre-tape the sides and bottom of the window. -
Step 2:Use the 3M™ Hand-Masker™ M3000 Dispenser to apply film to the top of the window trim.

Step 3:Unfold the film and adhere to the pre-taped sides and bottom of the window.
How to Mask — Bathtub Inserts
The 3M™ Hand-Masker™ System is ideal for masking bathtub inserts, showers, sinks, toilets and other bathroom fixtures.

Step 1:Pre-tape one side of the bathtub insert.

Step 2:Use the 3M™ Hand-Masker™ M3000 Dispenser to apply film to the opposite side of the insert.

Step 3:Unfold the film and adhere to the pre-taped side of the insert.
How to Mask — Exterior Surfaces
Use the 3M™ Hand-Masker™ System for complete coverage on exterior surfaces.

Step 1:Use the 3M™ Hand-Masker™ M3000 Dispenser to apply film across top of the glass. Secure tape with left hand. Cut film to length.

Step 2:Pre-tape the bottom edge of the window to be masked.

Step 3:Unfold the film and adhere it to the tape at the bottom of the window, folding any excess film under and back between the film and window. Tape the sides.
