Automotive Cable Insulation and Jacketing

Primary Insulation

The combination of broad chemical resistance, thermal stability and fire-resistant performance has seen our products introduced into many demanding fields. In addition, certain fully fluorinated polymers exhibit excellent electrical properties including very low dielectric loss – meaning that electrical signals can travel with low attenuation. This makes these polymers particularly well suited as a primary, inner insulation layer where electrical signal strength is a key requirement.
