Scotch® Tape 24 is a 16-mil thick, premium-grade electrical tape for use with power cable insulations and high-voltage splicing/terminating materials. The open-weave, shielding tape withstands a wide temperature range of 32 to 221 degrees F (0 to 105 degrees C).
Scotch® Tape 24 is a corrosion-resistant tape with an aggressive rubber resin adhesive that offers optimized adherence. This tape is highly conformable with the open-weave knit construction of copper wire. It stretches easily to adhere on uneven surfaces and is designed for indoor and outdoor applications.
