3M™ Scotchcast™ Flexible Splice 82-BF1 (2131), 10 Kits/Case

3M™ 82-BF1 Series Resin Compression C-Tap Cable Splice Kit with flame-retardant compound 2131 is designed for tap splices on non-shielded portable power cables and cords. This kit is suitable for use on single- or multi-conductor cables using a compression C-tap connector. The tap splice can accommodate cables and cords that are rated up to 1 kV.

3M™ 82-BF1 Series Resin C-Tap Cable Splice Kit includes a 1-piece removable mold, rubber splicing tape 23, flame-retardant compound 2131 and Three-M-Ite™ Elek-Tro-Cut™ abrasive cloth. The semi-flexible compound included in the kit offers permanent splicing to bend with the cable for easy installation, reeling and handling. The smooth, tapered splice prevents cable hang-ups and splice end lifting. The flame-retardant compound 2131 is a self-curing resin that bonds to itself and modern cable jackets.
