Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 353 securely closes a wide variety of box and carton materials, including corrugated boxes with high recycled content. Knowing that packages take a lot of rugged treatment in transit, we developed a moisture-resistant polyester backing that resists abrasion, chemicals and scuffing to hold strong throughout the shipping process.

This tape is particularly resistant to splitting along seam or score lines. Our tape is suitable for use on single- and double-walled corrugated boxes weighing up to 100 lbs (45.3 kg), including those with high recycled content. A Tough Tape that is also Environmentally Friendly Scotch® High Performance Box Sealing Tape 353 features a biaxially oriented polyester backing with a pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive. The tape complies with environmental considerations of ASTM D1974-92 and meets CID A-A-1684B.
