3M™ Copper Foil Tape 1181 consists of a 1-ounce rolled copper foil backing and an electrically conductive, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. This tape is supplied on a removable liner for easy handling and die-cutting. It has excellent solder ability. It is typically used as an EMI/RFI shielding tape for applications in the electronics industry such as static charge draining, seaming shielded rooms, cable wrapping and surface contact to non-solderable materials.
3M™ EMI Shielding Tape 1181 has a deadsoft, copper foil backing with a pressure sensitive, electrically conductive, acrylic adhesive that ensures firm adherence. The copper foil backing of the tape offers excellent resistance against oxidation and discoloration. The conductive particles in the adhesive offer low resistance between the substrate and the backing. This flame retardant tape is designed for grounding and EMI shielding in equipment, components and shielded rooms. UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
