3M™ Tape 62 is a 4-mil thick, PTFE-film backing, electrical tape. This printable tape is suitable for use on high-temperature coils, wire harnesses and capacitors. The thermosetting, silicone adhesive on the flame-retardant tape offers optimized adherence in areas of high ambient temperatures. This tape withstands a temperature range of 32 to 356 degrees F (0 to 180 degrees C).
3M™ Tape 62 has a bondable backside that provides excellent adhesion to its own backing as well as better bonding of resins and varnishes. This PTFE tape is suitable for minimum shrinkage applications over a wide range of temperatures. UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant .
