3M™ Composite Film Tape 44 is excellent for economical, general purpose insulation, anchoring, and banding in motors and transformers. It combines the high dielectric strength and edge-tear resistance of polyester film and nonwoven polyester mat for a conformable product with great puncture resistant and electrical properties.
This .0055 inch thick tape is a polyester web reinforced polyester film coated with a rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive. On a 3 inch paper core this puncture-resistant tape is tough and conformable. 23.5 in x 90 yd
