Scotch® Tape 27 is a 7-mil thick, premium-grade, woven, glass-cloth backing, electrical tape. This tape offers electrical insulation up to 600V and mechanical protection at high temperatures. The flame-retardant tape has a pressure-sensitive, thermosetting, rubber adhesive that offers good adherence. Tape withstands a temperature range of 32 to 302 degrees F (0 to 150 degrees C).
Scotch® Tape 27 Edge Tear Resistant Tape is suitable for applications that require the corrosion free protection of specially treated, woven, glass cloth, as well as the high tensile strength of glass that will not shrink, rot or burn. This tape is designed to provide heat stable insulation for furnaces, motor lead connectors, switches and oven controls. UL Listed, CSA Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
