3M™ SJ Cold Shrink Splice Jacket Kit is designed to offer a tight seal jacket over cable splices installed on jacketed concentric neutral and other types of jacketed power cable. The kit includes an open-ended, tubular rubber sleeve and rubber mastic tape.
3M™ SJ Cold Shrink Splice Jacket Kit contains a jacket tube and rolls of 2228 rubber mastic tape. The mastic tape offers an assured sealing interface between the cable jacket and jacket tube. It is used as an accessory kit to rejacket over molded rubber splices that are made from durable EPDM rubber. The rubber mastic tape offers a long-lasting seal between the cable jacket and the cold shrink sleeve. Eliminate the need for dangerous torches or special tooling using this rejacketing kit.
