3M™ Electrical Filament Tape 1076 is made of an electrical-grade paper backing, reinforced with scrim glass filaments and an oil-compatible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. The 1076 tape construction provides saturable backing to minimize the potential of voids, improved bonding with diamond paper insulation during transformer baking, and excellent stiffness.
Adhesion is stable, even after long exposure to transformer fluids. The woven glass mat provides additional reinforcement. 10 mil total thickness.
