3M™ Cold Shrink QS4 Integrated Splice QS4-15JCN-QCI-2-4/0

3M™ QS4-15JCN Series Cold Shrink Integrated Splice Kit with shearbolt connector, is a 15 kV-class inline splice to join JCN and flat strap neutral power cables. Cold shrink design fits type MV-90 or MV-105 cables with aluminum or aluminum conductors while ensuring easy installation. The silicone-rubber construction offers good high- and low-temperature performance.

With this splice, 3M is introducing our easy-to-use yellow core and rejacketing tube. We incorporated our smooth-edged shield sock (non-fraying ends) with optional customizable ground braid. The Jacketed Concentric Neutral (JCN) inline splice kits below are designed for joining Jacketed Concentric Neutral (JCN) and Flat Strap Neutral power cables. The splice includes an integrated 7 AWG ground braid for attaching to an external ground wire (ground braid does not extend beyond the end of the rejacketing after installation). Note: Cable sizes shown below are for standard insulation thickness. Final determining factor is cable insulation O.D. *If using a 3M™ Shearbolt Connector QCI Series for 500 kcmil to 500 kcmil splices, use the QS4-15JCN-QCI-500-750 kit or the QS4-15JCN-500-1000 kit with the QCI 350-750 connector purchased separately.
