3M™ Cold Shrink QT-III 7640-T-HSG & 7650-T-HSG Series Termination Kit includes a non-skirted, 1-piece termination. It ensures a pliable, tight seal for tape shield, wire-over-tape shield and longitudinally corrugated shield power cables. The conjunction of high dielectric-constant material and sealing compounds allows the termination to withstand voltages of 5 to 35kV.

3M™ Cold Shrink QT-III 7640-T-HSG & 7650-T-HSG Series Termination Kit is designed for terminating medium voltage cables. The hydrophobic, track-resistant, silicone rubber insulation makes the termination suitable for high-ampacity ground applications. The lower surface stress, high dielectric-constant material offers an optimized BIL performance while ensuring a leak-proof, compact fit. IEEE Standard 48 Class 1 Approved for indoor and weather-protected applications.

· 5 kV: 300-500 kcmil
· 8 kV: 250-500 kcmil
· 15 kV: 2/0 AWG-300 kcmil
· 25/28 kV: 2-4/0 AWG
· 35 kV: 2-2/0 AWG

This termination is compatible with the following lugs:
QL2-A-2-250, for conductor range: 2/0 AWG-250 kcmil (15kV), 2-4/0 AWG(25/28kV), 1/0-2/0 AWG (35kV)
