Scotch® Wireless Weatherproofing Kit comes with accessories that provide a tough and reliable weatherproof seal for cable-to-cable and cable-to-device connections. This economical kit is suitable for general-purpose applications. The components in this kit feature common weatherproofing solutions for a wide range of cable sizes and device configurations.
Scotch® Wireless Weatherproofing Kit includes 6 rolls of 3M™ Butyl Mastic Tape 2212 (2 1/2" x 24'), 2 rolls of 3M™ Temflex™ Vinyl Electrical Tape 1700 (3/4"x60') and 1 roll of Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape 700 (2"x20'). The self-fusing butyl mastic tape and vinyl tapes are very resistant towards water, condensation and varying weather conditions, while the butyl mastic tape offers greater adhesion to steel. This kit has passed the TM 391 water seal test. The kit accessories withstand a temperature range of 32 to 176 degrees F (0 to 80 degrees C). RoHS 2002/95/EC Compliant.
