Maintenance Contract

3M home water solutions provides you with products which require minimum maintenance and service. If you have purchased any of our cartridge based products(Everything except softeners) you need not worry about purchasing any maintenance contracts. You can maintain your systems in a few simple steps.

  

  • Register your product with us here
  • We will call you when your cartridge needs replacement
  • Purchase cartridge from your nearest authorized dealer
  • Change the cartridges yourself. All our cartridge based models have “drop in cartridge” or “sanitary quick change” cartridge system

If you have purchased a SFT100, SFT150 or SFT200 from any of our authorized dealers, you can now avail of any of the below maintenance contracts that best suits your requirement and ensure a trouble free experience even if warranty for the Fully Automatic Water Softeners purchased by you have expired.

What Happens if I do not opt for any MC?

You will be charged Rs. 1000/- for every service visit needed to rectify any problem in your softener. The validity of the chargeable visit cost will be three months. This implies that you will not be charged if the problem recurs within a 3 month period after this visit. For any other problem that might occur, you will be charged independent of the previous visit date.

**Any spare replacement needed to rectify the problem will be chargeable.

What are my options for a Maintenance Contract (MC)?

We have three options of Maintenance contract that you can choose from. The Basic Plan is the Annual Maintenance Contract, beyond which we have the Comprehensive and Extended Comprehensive Maintenance Contract. Please find the details below.

AMC = Annual Maintenance Contract

By paying Rs. 4000 in a year you ensure

  

  • Unlimited visits to solve any kind of problem you face with the softener
  • 2 mandatory scheduled visits in a year to check the health of the softener

** Any spare replacement needed to rectify the problem will be chargeable.

CMC = Comprehensive Maintenance Contract

By paying Rs.9000 in a year you ensure

  

  • Unlimited visits to solve any kind of problem you face with the softener
  • 2 mandatory scheduled visits in a year to check the health of the softener
  • Free of cost spare replacements of all electronic parts needed to solve any service issue along with free resin replacement whenever needed

ECMC = Extended Comprehensive Maintenance Contract

By paying Rs.12,000 in a year you ensure

  

  • Unlimited visits to solve any kind of problem you face with the softener
  • 2 mandatory scheduled visits in a year to check the health of the softener
  • Free of cost spare replacements of all electronic parts needed to solve any service issue along with free resin replacement whenever needed
  • Scheduled visits to refill the salt in your softener at regular intervals of time basis your daily consumption and water quality

Warranty

Warranty for products of 3M Home Water Solution sold by 3M Electro and Communication Pvt. Ltd. are limited to one (1) year for the entire product and filter cartridge from the date of purchase by the consumer, provided the installation of the product is performed by 3M Authorized personnel, subject to exclusions and limitations mentioned in the warranty card attached along with the user manual

To file a claim under this warranty you must complete product registration by calling 3M at 1800-425-425-000 or register on the 3M Website within ten (10) days of installation date.

In your communication to 3M to notify any defect, malfunction etc., kindly provide the following details by contacting us on 1800-425-425-000

1. Product involved (by model or serial number)
2. Specifying where, when and from whom the Product was purchased.
3. Describing the nature of the defect, malfunction or other violation of this Warranty
