The 3M™ E-A-Rfit™ Dual-Ear Validation System allows you to identify the amount of protection that a worker is receiving from their hearing protector. The purpose of this information is to provide training and software resources for users of the system. See Getting Started below.
Getting Started
In order to use the 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear Validation System to measure hearing protector attenuation, you will need to purchase a 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear Kit from your 3M distributor. This kit includes the E-A- Rfit hardware and accessories you need to get started along with a sample of probed test earplugs. Once you begin using the system, you will need to purchase additional probed test earplugs for use during testing.
Then, download the current version of the 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear Software in the Software Download section.
