Epoxy is often used as a generic term for a structural adhesive, but high-strength epoxy adhesives are actually a very specific class of structural adhesives. These chemistries are durable in demanding conditions – not only against outdoor weathering but also many solvents and other conditions.
Industrial-strength epoxy adhesives provide high shear and peel strengths, depending on the formula, and better heat and chemical resistance than other common adhesives. They generally deliver the highest overall strength, as well as the best performance and most resistance to high temperatures, solvents and outdoor weathering.
Epoxies have the greatest strength and durability of all structural adhesives
Epoxy bonds have exceptional resistance to shock, vibration and impact loads
One- and two-part epoxy formulations can fit your design and assembly needs
One-part epoxy adhesives eliminate metering and mixing but require heat to cure, with newer formulations curing at lower temperatures than older versions.
Two-part epoxy adhesives begin curing when the two components are mixed and offer different performance characteristics depending on the formulation.
